After enjoying my giant iPhone for a while now, I thought it would be fair to promote the free iPad giveway going on over on our sister site freebiejeebies gadgets.
To be in with a chance of bagging yourself a free iPad, just head over there and click on the big button to sign up. Everyone is able to sign up and there is nothing else to do – this is free to join and open to all.
Even better, is that the iPad giveaway is recurring. There is no limit to the number of free iPads being shipped by freebiejeebies – and as soon as your details are verified, the iPad will be sent to your door.
We even received another free iPad here at freeiphones4me – this time it was work related though so at some point I’ll have to write a review on how the iPad improves my efficiency in business. Should be fun.

Just when you think it is safe to go back in the water, a new problem has cropped up with the iPhone 4. Apparently, and I haven’t noticed this on my iPhone, the iPhone 4′s camera has quite a big fault in that it appears to have a blue-ish green haze that affects the photographs. iPhone users have been reporting the problem on numerous blogging sites and the problem is clear from this image:
It is unclear at this whether the fault is with the camera itself of if a software update can fix things.

Some of my favourite iPhone Apps. You may not have heard of them all:
Pandora – Free
Who needs iTunes when you can use radio stations on autopilot, constantly finding tracks that you like, based on a simple voting button. the more you listen and vote, the more Pandora understands your taste and finds tracks to match.
The Weather Channel – Free Plan your day trip with almost 100% accuracy – this iPhone App even gives windspeed and direction and seems to have loads of close monitoring stations. Contains ads, but it is free.
Fring – Free
If you use Facebook, Twitter and other IM services on your iPhone, this handy app lets you tweet, poke and chat all form the one place. Also includes video calling.

Hints started to be dropped, the newsletter has been delayed, and the freebiejeebies team have been unusually quiet over on eXceem – yes we knew something big was in the pipeline, but another huge freebiejeebies competition was a bit unexpected so soon after the fantastic freebiejeebies car competition.
This time, freebiejeebies are having a massive cash giveaway competition, I do believe the top prize is a BIG £5000 – yes five thousand pounds, followed by two more cash prizes of £2000 and £1000!
Entry requirements are the same as the last freebiejeebies competition – for every referral you receive that completes an offer, you receive 1 entry to a weekly prize draw, up to a maximum of five entries per week. Every week, a number of entries will be selected at random and they will each win a Golden Ticket. There is no limit to the number of Golden Tickets you can win, and each Golden Ticket gives you one entry to the grand final draw to win the cash.
If you are an active member on eXceem you are lucky enough to have a few extra chances to win Golden Tickets – so you really should join now and start contributing.
This great freebiejeebies competition is a More >

Police in the UK have shut down what they are claiming to be the biggest global iPhone scam ever seen. The scam, based in the UK but operating globally was said to be costing iPhone operator O2 over £1M a month.
Nine people have been arrested, accused of coordinating the global scam to defraud the telecommunications firm, O2.
In a series of early morning raids, police seized a large number of stolen iPhones and other evidence relating to the scam.
It appears that huge numbers of iPhones were being stolen (although who from is still unclear), and being sent overseas where the SIM cards were removed and plugged into auto-diallers, where they were continually phoning premium rate phone lines costing up to £10/min, presumably owned by the scammers. O2 were settling the bills immediately, before they realised the iPhone’s the SIMs came from had no owners.
The handsets themselves were simply sold on the blackmarket overseas where O2 have no control over them and cannot activate any kind of locking feature.
